Sports

Rural Interschool Sports Competitions

The Rotorua Seventh-Day Adventist School is part of the Rural Schools Cluster for interschool sports such as:
  • Athletics
  • Swimming
  • Cross Country
These are usually held at Kaharoa School. The interschool caters for Year 4-Year 8 students only.

 Rotorua Basketball/Miniball League, Touch

Students are encouraged to join our teams for the local Basketball/Miniball league held in the Rotorua Sportsdrome for Terms 2 and 3.
Touch is held in Terms 1 and 4 at the Kuirau Park fields.
Parents are able to coach our teams and get involved with sports at a community level.

Bay of Plenty Seventh-Day Adventist Interschool

We have joint sports days with our fellow Seventh-Day  Adventist Schools - Tauranga, Whakatane and Hamilton for sports such as: Athletics, basketball, touch and soccer.
We also, at times, join in with the wider Waikato/Bay of Plenty Christian School interschool sports.

Rotorua Aquatics Swimming Lessons

All students receive 6 swimming lessons which are held at the Rotorua Aquatics Centre. The Rotorua Swimsation School runs the programme with each child receiving a certificate showing their water skills.
