She is available through Microsoft Team Chats and Senior Tuakana Facebook page and is online from 9.45am - 3pm daily.
You can contact her with any questions or if you need login details for your child.

Senior Tuakana have a closed, private Facebook group that is available for parents of Senior Tuakana Class students to join. This group is to share learning activities and student work. ​

All Senior Tuakana online learning is found in Microsoft Teams. 
Check on Fridays, 3pm for when your child is required to be in their Microsoft Team Chats for the following week.

Online Learning Timetable - Senior Tuakana Class

Reading: structured reading activities including stories, articles, or poems and activities to support your child’s comprehension. There will be recorded instructions for your child to follow. Part of the reading program is the Shared Novel. This has recordings of the story and activities in their Novel Study OneNote Workbook for each to complete.

Maths: structured math tutorial and activities. There will be recorded instructions for your child to follow. Work is to be completed in their math books and then a photo of marked work uploaded into their Math OneNote Workbook.

Writing: structured writing lessons and challenges will be available for your child to complete. There will be recorded instructions for different parts of writing for your child to follow.

Bible / Encounter: there will be recordings and activities regarding our bible studies for the term. These are to be completed in your child’s Bible OneNote Workbook. This is also a time for you to discuss and check their understanding of the concepts and character being covered.

Topic: our top for this term is Climate Change. There will be a range of readings, worksheets and activities for students to work on. There will be recordings for each lot of activities set to help guide your child’s understanding. Not all the activities are compulsory due to resources and equipment, but where possible, will help in force your child’s learning.

Mucky Friday: this is the favourite part of the week for your child. It is a time for them to catch up on the weeks work. This is independent.
