We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Christian teacher who is able to work in a small team, use digital technology competently, and is focused and able to improve student achievement. Position is for a multi-levelled, senior (Y4–8) class, shared teaching role.
The successful applicant will need to have a sound understanding of the ethos of holistic Christian education, be a collaborative student-focused teacher who applies current educational practices, and who enjoys nurturing and connecting with students of varied abilities and cultures. Applicants must be NZ registered and fully conversant with the NZ Curriculum. Availability for extra release days is an advantage. Applicant must be willing and able to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the special Seventh-day Adventist character of the school is a condition of appointment. |
